Kasra founded Critical Music in 2002 and has toured it as Critical Sound since 2010; this December stop in Brighton pairs him with two acts the label brought through. QZB, a duo formed in Basel, released their debut album Future Forever on Critical in 2023 and lean on percussion, with hip hop, breaks and jazz in the mix. Spectral reached the label through the EQ50 mentoring scheme, with Kasra guiding her first EP on the Binary series, and now holds residencies on Kool FM and Rinse. The Volks opens at 11pm, last entry is 6am, and advance tickets start at £6.
