Cost of Raving- Altern-8 ,Dom and Roland. Free tickets available
Friday, 6 November 2026 · The Volks Nightclub, Brighton
Starts 23:00 · Ends 07:00 · Doors 23:00 · 18+ · Free entry
The Cost of Raving goes back to the early 90s for this one. Altern 8, now Mark Archer's project after Chris Peat left in 1994, made the dust masks and chemical suits of Activ 8 (a UK number 3 in 1991) part of rave folklore, while Dom & Roland, otherwise Dominic Angas, has spent three decades making techstep for Moving Shadow and Metalheadz. Lotskee, Hawthorne and Drift-ee-z fill out the main room and Liquid Lunch host Room 2. The organisers are releasing 200 free tickets on Skiddle, so check the 11.30pm condition on the listing, with paid early birds from £8. It runs 11pm to 7am on Brighton seafront, 18+.
