Serial Killaz play an extended set at 24 Kitchen Street in Liverpool on Friday 11 September, the second night from Static Events after a sold out debut and the first of three the promoter is running with Jungle Cakes. Tera and Vital Elements have defined modern ragga jungle since 2005, from the Congo Natty remix of Junglist that made their name to Walk and Skank and Man Ah Junglist, and the longer slot means more room for the reggae and dancehall sampling that runs through their catalogue. Lucidik supports, a three deck DJ from the Phase Records crew who moves between dark D&B, full spectrum and 140. Both rooms of the 400 capacity Baltic Triangle venue are in use, and reviewers agree the bass in the bare brick main room hits well above its size. Last entry is midnight, the night plays 10pm to 4am, and tickets start at £8.
