Nersha headlines Who's Nxt?, the joint Hooked Sounds and Distinct Collective night at Secret Vault in Nottingham on Friday 18 September. The Birmingham born, Bristol based DJ sings live over her own mixes, a habit she picked up in early 2024 that now defines her sets, and her CRUCAST debut Losing Control with Rendah has passed 1.8 million streams. YazminC, the Manchester DJ and vocalist whose sets jump from 4x4 and jump up into dark rollers, and Sheffield's Chennerz, an Alpha Circuit producer with FMS collaborations to his name, fill out a bill that leans young and fast, with more names still to come. Secret Vault is a single room of around 350 on Talbot Street near Rock City with a 360 degree stage in the centre of the floor, recently refurbished, and it gets very warm once full. Tickets start at £6 with student deals, last entry is midnight and the music plays 9pm to 3am.
