2 Bad Mice were among the first UK hardcore acts to build tracks around breakbeats, and Hold It Down and Bombscare remain their best known records. Formed in 1991 with Moving Shadow boss Rob Playford, the group returned in 2010 after a long break and launched the Over/Shadow label in 2020. Their return to The Jam Jar follows a sold out show there in May 2026, with invited guests covering jungle, hardcore, drum and bass and breaks. It starts at 11pm, tickets are from £7 and it is 18+. The room is upstairs in the Old Malt House, up steep, narrow stairs.
