The Croft
Cheltenham Road, Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS1 3RW
Before it was The Croft again, 117 to 119 Stokes Croft spent about a decade as the Crofters Rights, and before that as the original Croft, whose Dubloaded parties helped push Bristol's dubstep scene along until 2013. The building shut in summer 2024, was taken into community ownership through Music Venue Properties' Own Our Venues campaign, and reopened under its old name in September 2025 after a full refit. A front bar with exposed stone walls and a chalkboard of local craft beers leads through to a small, all-black back room where the gigs and club nights happen. Drum and bass here comes from the city's grassroots promoters: Intrigue, one of Bristol's longest-running D&B nights, brings Objectiv and friends, while Welcome To The Jungle and Invicta Audio with Scuffed cover the jungle end. The back room is genuinely small, so the better-known bookings sell out, and it is a short walk north of Broadmead.
The Croft has 3 upcoming drum & bass event(s) on DNBRAVE.
