Quarters Brighton

187-193 Kings Road United Kingdom, Brighton, BN1 1NB

The Zap opened under the Kings Road promenade in 1982, and these seafront arches later housed Tonka and DJ Harvey's early parties, Sasha and John Digweed's Northern Exposure, and spells as The Union, Digital and The Arch. A Man About A Dog, the team behind Junction 2 and Boundary, relaunched the space as Quarters in autumn 2025. Their refit knocked the two old dancefloors into one main room under the central arch, with a 360 degree booth, a bespoke L-Acoustics surround system and a full LED ceiling. House, techno and live acts share the calendar with a strong D&B and jungle thread, from the club's own monthly free entry series to Supercharged nights and headliners like 4am Kru, Notion and K Motionz. Tuesdays belong to CU Next Tuesday, a student night playing chart, hip hop and some D&B. The sound wins near universal praise for crisp highs and weighty, clean bass. The bars serve tins rather than draught, the outside smoking area is small, and ID checks are strict. Allow ten minutes on foot from Brighton station.

Quarters Brighton has 5 upcoming drum & bass event(s) on DNBRAVE.
