Audio sits in a railway arch beneath Glasgow Central on Midland Street, a low-ceilinged room for somewhere between 150 and 200 people that took over the space once home to Rockers. Its roots are in rock, metal and touring indie bands, yet the bookings stretch to club nights, and Symbiosis, billed by its promoters as Glasgow's longest-running drum and bass night, has held all-vinyl specials here. Being that close to the decks is the appeal, and visitors routinely praise the sound for such a small space. Drinks are cans and bottles only, with no draught beer, and the toilets are small. The station concourse is a couple of minutes away on foot.
