Venjent made his name chopping everyday field recordings and scrap samples into high energy drum and bass, the approach behind tracks such as Open the Door, and in Bristol he performs it as a live show rather than a DJ set. The London producer and singer plays the Trinity Centre, a Grade II* listed former church run by the Trinity Community Arts charity, with Oktae and X4 in support. It is an early, standing gig: doors 7pm, last entry 9pm and an 11pm curfew, with 14 to 17 year olds admitted alongside an adult. Tickets are £25, and Trinity adds a £1 levy per ticket towards restoring the building.
