Brighton DJ and producer Dreadnaught, who releases through Sub-Liminal Recordings, travels west for a Halloween night of hard-hitting drum and bass in Newport. His productions lean on punchy drums and gritty low end, and his Ray Keith Dark Soldier remix and Baby D bootleg have won support from Grooverider and A.M.C among others. Night of the Living Dubs takes over Fire & Ice on Cambrian Road, a bar and arcade a couple of minutes from Newport station that usually runs themed parties and sports screenings, so a bass booking here is a rarity. It runs from 7pm with last entry at 1am, tickets are £8 and it is 18+.
