Jungle Cakes: Top Cat, Ed Solo and Deekline | Manchester
Friday, 27 November 2026 · Joshua Brooks, Manchester
Starts 22:00 · Ends 04:00 · Doors 22:00 · Last entry 04:00 · 18+ · Tickets from £8
Jungle Cakes brings its ragga-leaning label night to Joshua Brooks with both founders, Ed Solo and Deekline, plus Top Cat. Manchester-born Top Cat came up toasting on UK sound systems, and his 1994 track Champion DJ became a jungle anthem, so this is something of a homecoming. Navigator, a sound system MC since 1979 and a Kool FM voice from the mid-nineties, hosts the six hours. The club sits in a basement of brick arches off Princess Street with a low ceiling, and it gets hot, so dress light. Doors 10pm, tickets from £8.
Lineup: Ed Solo, Deekline, Navigator, Top Cat
Genres: Drum & Bass
Venue: Joshua Brooks
