Down a steep staircase beneath Heebie Jeebies on Seel Street in Liverpool, the Tunnel is a small, dark room where nobody stands far from the decks, and on Friday 4 December it hosts Hush & Bass. The night is deliberately mixed: jungle and drum and bass share the billing with dub, reggae, techno and trance instead of the room committing to one tempo. Entry is free and 18+, with doors at 11pm and last entry at 2am. Reviewers say the place gets very hot when busy and that queues can stretch along the street, so dress light and carry some cash in case the door needs it.
