Bristol Bound Sounds' first freshers night lands at The Full Moon and Attic Bar on Thursday 17 September, free entry, drum and bass and jungle from local selectors rather than a touring name. The collective exists to push the city's own emerging and established DJs, and the pitch to new students is a first taste of Bristol's jungle lineage in a room that has hosted it for years. The Attic Bar holds around 240 up a flight of stairs above the pub, licensed until 2am, which is when this finishes after a 9pm start with last entry at 1.30am. The whole site is card only, the courtyard doubles as smoking area and cooling off space, and it stands directly opposite Bristol Bus and Coach Station. Physical ID is required for over 18s.
