Sharkey
Sharkey is Jonathan Kneath, born in Plymouth in 1974, who started as an MC at UK hardcore raves in 1993 before becoming a DJ and producer. In 1995 he made Toytown with Hixxy, one of happy hardcore's signature tunes, which led to a React Music deal and the Bonkers compilation series, most of which he mixed. His 1998 album Hard Life included Revolutions, a UK number 53, and he coined the term freeform, helping create that hardcore style with Kevin Energy. He retired in 2011, returned in 2017 and revived the Bonkers label around 2020.
Sharkey has 1 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
