Gray (UK)
Genres: Jungle, Rollers, Drum & Bass
Gray is a London-based drum and bass and jungle producer and DJ who started out at free parties and unlicensed raves, then moved to Bristol at 18, where the city's Jamaican sound system and free party culture shaped his music. The breakthrough came in late 2019 with the Rubadub EP alongside Teej on Born On Road, followed by a remix EP featuring DJ Limited and Alcemist, and One Spliff is his other big tune. Later Born On Road work includes No Face No Case with Diagnostix and Ozone, with further releases on Shogun, Liondub and 3Beat and collaborations with A Little Sound, Sigma and Mozey. He was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2020 Drum&BassArena Awards and played a Boomtown main stage set in 2022. His style mixes rollers and dancefloor drum and bass with a strong dancehall and reggae influence, and some bookings pair him with MC XL.
Gray (UK) has 4 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
