Eva Lazarus
Genres: Jungle
Born and raised in Bristol, Eva Lazarus began writing songs and performing in her early teens, quickly making a name for herself in one of the UKs most musically fertile cities. Drawing on the rich Bristol tradition of soundsystem culture, reggae, and bass music, she developed a style that moves effortlessly between genres -- from roots reggae and hip-hop to jungle and drum and bass. Her early local performances led to wider recognition, and she soon became a sought-after vocalist across the bass music spectrum. Eva has collaborated with some of the biggest names in jungle and bass culture, including Benny Page, Ed Solo, Mungo Hi Fi, Gardna, and Dynamite MC. Her 2017 "Amsterdam EP" with Mungo Hi Fi was playlisted on BBC 6Music and featured in David Rodigans legendary scorchers list. She has also appeared on Hospital Records through her collaboration with Hoax and Degs on "One By One," showcasing her ability to hold her own alongside heavyweight producers. Known for her powerful live performances that blend singing, MCing, and raw stage energy, Eva Lazarus has become one of Bristols most exciting exports. She serves as visiting faculty at BIMM Music Institute in Bristol, passing on her knowledge to the next generation while continuing to release music that defies easy categorisation, bridging reggae warmth with dancefloor weight.
Eva Lazarus has 1 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
