DJ VIBES & LIVELEE
DJ Vibes & Livelee are the happy hardcore pairing of DJ Vibes, Shane from Essex, and MC Livelee. Vibes started DJing in 1991 after running a pirate station, with a first gig at Rush in the Pyramid Centre, Dalston, and his first record, Obsession (Music's So Wonderful) with Wishdokta on Asylum, sold over 10,000 copies; Sing It Loud is often cited as an early happy hardcore record. Through the mid to late 90s the two played together as regulars at Helter Skelter, Dreamscape and Hardcore Heaven, and they still reunite for old skool events.
