Diagnostix is Josh Walker, born in Hertfordshire in 1999 and now based in London, a producer whose drum and bass is dark, jump up flavoured and cut through with jungle amens. He came up through the underground rave scene citing Dillinja and Shy FX as influences, and found his home on Born On Road, the Bristol jungle label run by Aries and Kelvin 373. The Gwaan Gyal EP in 2021 and Favela Rave in 2023 established him there, followed by Malfunction, Rig Poppa and collaborations with Kamakaze, Dread MC, Gray and Ozone. He has played Boomtown, Glastonbury, Rampage and Worried About Henry, and recorded a full production mix for Born On Road. His mixing is technical and quick, stacked with his own dubs.
