Circadian
Genres: Drum & Bass
Brighton based producer Chris Garvey spent more than a decade as one half of The Prototypes, the duo behind Pale Blue Dot and the album City of Gold, before stepping away in May 2023 to go solo as Circadian. The first single, Body Work, arrived that month, and The Outlines with Koven followed on Monstercat within weeks. Since then the project has turned out a steady run of club tracks: You Want Me with Dirtyphonics, Mesmer with Sota and Mila Falls, Louder with Mozey on Rinse's KOOL imprint, Flamethrower on UKF, Hold That Sucker Down on Armada and several records for Elevate, including Interstellar with Friction. He has remixed Basement Jaxx as well. Garvey sums the alias up as the yin and yang of rave culture, and the catalogue moves between heavy dancefloor weapons and melodic, vocal led material. In 2026 he launched Circuits, his own headline show, with a debut at the Brighton Fringe.
Circadian has 2 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
