CALYX
Genres: Neurofunk, Techstep, Drum & Bass
Calyx is Larry Cons, a London producer whose project started in 1998 as a duo with Chris Rush before Rush stepped away around 2000. The early Cubic / Narcosis single came out on Audio Couture, and most of the solo catalogue landed on Moving Shadow, including the 2005 album No Turning Back, with further records for Metalheadz, Subtitles and Ram. His long run with Teebee began with Anatomy on their Momentum Music imprint in 2007 and led to an exclusive Ram deal as a pair, producing the albums All or Nothing (2012), 1x1 (2016) and Plates (2022). Since 2023 his solo work has appeared on Critical Music. Expect dark, precise techstep and neurofunk rooted in the late nineties sound.
CALYX has 1 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
