Billy Daniel Bunter
Billy Daniel Bunter is Daniel Light, born in London in 1975, who started DJing at 15 at the dawn of the rave era at Club Labyrinth in Dalston. Through the 90s he played Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, Slammin Vinyl and Hardcore Heaven, moving from breakbeat and happy hardcore into hard house. Drop That Beat with Andy Farley reached number 25 in the UK in 2000, and he mixed The Future of Hard Dance Vol. 1 in 1997. 88 to 94, made with Sanxion in 2017, looks back at the early rave years, and his autobiography The Love Dove Generation was published in 2015. His sets are old skool rave and hardcore rather than drum and bass.
