Badger
Genres: Jungle, Bassline, UK Garage
Alex Goodger-Marsh grew up in Brighton and moved to Bristol to study music production, and as Badger he makes UK garage, bass house and jungle-tinged edits. Drum and bass was what he produced first, before garage took over. His breakthrough was a remix of the Vengaboys' Like to Party, which turned into an official collaboration with the group, and a run of releases on AC Slater's Night Bass label followed. In 2024 his rework of Natasha Bedingfield's These Words went viral online months before its official release and went on to make the UK Top 40. He has since released through In The Wild Recordings, a name shared with his own club nights, which bill garage, bassline and jungle together. His DJ sets are garage at the core, packed with his own edits and bootlegs and with jungle sections dropped in, and have taken him to Glastonbury and Boomtown.
Badger has 4 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
