Aries is a Midlands born, Bristol based jungle DJ and producer who has been playing since the 1990s and co-founded the Born On Road label in 2013 with Kelvin 373, Stivs, Selecta J-Man and Gold Dubs. Born On Road grew from Bristol roots into one of the best known labels of the new jungle wave, vocal led and steeped in dancehall, bashment and reggae, and it tours as a collective. His first major release was Herb Smoke in 2006, with Ain't No Sunshine and the Jungle Style album following on the label. He won Best DJ at the 2016 We Love Jungle Awards and has played in more than 35 countries. His sound is dub wise, reggae rooted jungle and drum and bass, and his sets carry the Born On Road MCs and vocalists with them.
