Amoss are Andy Tweedale and James Evans, a drum and bass duo from Herefordshire who met at a school party around 2006 and played in bands before turning to production. Their first 12 inch, Glurg Monster, came out on Cyclone Recordings in December 2010 and the State Of Suspension EP on Dispatch followed in 2012. They are core artists on Flexout Audio, the label that pushed the tech roller sound through the 2010s, and they run their own imprint, Horizons Music, alongside releases on Dispatch and In-Reach. The music is dark, minimal and rolling, moving between gritty distorted bass and deep, experimental sound design, and their sets range across eras of the tech and minimal side of D&B.
