Alibi
Genres: Drum & Bass
Alibi is a Brazilian drum and bass act from the outskirts of Sao Paulo and a long-standing part of the V Recordings family. It began as a duo of DJ Chap and Level 2, friends since 2006 whose first joint release, Sky's The Limit, came out on Liquid V in 2011, and who launched as Alibi in 2015. The pair went separate ways in 2022 and Alibi continues as a solo project based in Vienna. Releases include Trunk with MC Coppa, Skyline with Command Strange, a Beatport drum and bass chart topper, the debut album Said & Done (Liquid V, 2018), Sequence (V, 2025) and the Forged EP, plus This Is Goodbye with S.P.Y. on Shogun Audio. The sound is a harder, more technical take on Brazilian drum and bass, dark in tone with funk running underneath, and Alibi also masters many V family releases.
Alibi has 1 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
