Alcemist is a DJ and producer from South East London whose take on drum and bass leans vocal, melodic and built for big rooms, with UK garage and house running underneath the jump up drums. His single Gold with Example, released on BMG in March 2023, became one of the most played D&B records of that year and is still the tune most crowds are waiting for. Since then he has released the Gone EP on DnB Allstars along with music on Born On Road, Dread Recordings and Atlantic, and collaborated with Local on Double Rum. Support has come from Andy C, Wilkinson, Hedex, Aries and BBC Radio 1, and he has played DnB Allstars 360 and shared bills with the late MC Skibadee. His sets are fast moving and eclectic, pulling from across the dancefloor spectrum rather than one lane.
